Dental Bridges in Antalya, Turkey (Zirconium & Porcelain)
A missing tooth can cause a chain reaction of problems, from difficulty chewing to the shifting of neighbouring teeth. A dental bridge is a fast, effective, and reliable way to “bridge the gap.” It restores your smile’s function and appearance.
What is a Dental Bridge?
A dental bridge is a custom-made prosthesis designed to replace one or more missing teeth. It typically consists of two or more crowns (called "abutments") that are placed on the healthy teeth on either side of the gap. These abutment crowns anchor a false tooth (or teeth, called a "pontic") in place, effectively "bridging" the empty space.
Who is a Candidate for a Dental Bridge?
A bridge is an excellent option if you:
- Are missing one or more teeth in a row.
- Have healthy, strong teeth on both sides of the gap to act as supports.
- Want a fixed, non-removable alternative to a partial denture.
- Prefer a faster, less invasive solution than dental implants or are not a candidate for implant surgery.
- Zirconium Bridges: This is our most recommended option. Zirconium is an exceptionally strong, biocompatible, and metal-free material. It offers a great look because its white base creates a natural, translucent appearance. It can be hard to tell from your real teeth.
- Porcelain-Fused-to-Metal (PFM) Bridges: This is a traditional and highly durable option. A strong metal substructure is covered with a layer of tooth-coloured porcelain. They offer great strength but may not have the high-end aesthetics of full zirconium.
- Consultation & Preparation: We examine the area. We prepare the “abutment” teeth by reshaping them to make room for crowns.
- Digital Impressions: We take a high-tech 3D digital scan of your teeth. This is sent instantly to our in-house lab.
- Temporary Bridge: You will get a temporary bridge to protect your teeth. It stays in place while we make your permanent one.
- Lab Fabrication: Our on-site dental technicians use CAD/CAM technology. They design and mill your custom zirconium or porcelain bridge.
- Final Fitting: Within a few days, you return for your final fitting. We check the fit, bite, and aesthetics before permanently cementing your new bridge in place. You leave with a fully restored smile.
